I have a complete barrelled action without wood. It is nasty with old grease. How much is it worth? Need ballpark value.

Thanks,
Vince

alex124485,

If I remember, this is complete without wood. I wasn't clear with my description.
Hope this helps.

so all the metal is included? i.e magazine, side folding bayonet, heat shield, fire control group ect... barreled action usually refers to the action with attached barrel only

Alex124485,

I don't remember the bayonet. May be there. It has been a long time since I have seen it. That's why I asked about it, wondered if it is worth digging out and cleaning up. Any ideas of value?

Alex,

Finally found it. Here are the pictures. Hope you can tell me the approximate value by them. Barrel is dark. 7.62x45 I think.

Thanks,
Vince

bore condition? it would be a huge money pit trying to piece this thing back together and ammo isnt really available, i wouldnt pay much for it 75 tops. if parts and stocks were available and could be easily made to function id say 125-150 depending on bore

Alex,

Do you know of any handguards for sale? If so, how much?

How much are the magazines going for?

I may post these for sale.

Thanks,
Vince

http://lswinds.webs.com/pricelist.htm sells brand new all-wood handguards for $40. Probably the only place you'll easily find one.
There is a magazine on gunbroker right now listed at $37

Your VZ52's are on the low side price wise at least what I can see picture wise. Handguards do come available, I'd have to look real close or have some one else who is reliable and close and knows these (I have a few) look at yours.

From the look at them depending on the barrel condition, the one barreled action could be parted out, the other who knows. Not complete and the not known conditions of the barrel etc. (Outside is only good metal wise) if the barrel is the same you are only looking at a 200 dollar gun, then parting it out will bring more money just with the stock alone.

In my opinion as a Czech collection by picture alone, I can only give a grey area description/price opinion.

Ed

Ed,

Thanks for the input. If I don't sell these, may try to fix them.

Thanks,
Vince
