Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

What was the original finish on the german artillery luger stocks? Was the finish the standard linseed oil rub? I just bought a reproduction stock and intend to alter it to make it look as authentic as possible (I am in no means going to try and pass off a fake as authentic). I have no intention of selling my luger until it gets sold at my estate sale in 70+ years. This pistol will be cherished in my collection for many decades to come.
