Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

1914 ,1934, HSC Pocket pistol Mags

#1 Post by 72 usmc » Fri Nov 17, 2017 10:25 am

Can anyone please help? Does any know if the Mauser pocket pistol .32cal magazine , an original magazine in .32 will fit the 1914 model, the 1934model and the HSC model pocket pistols or does each model have a different length magazine? I have a 1914 and 1934 and the original magazine measures from a 32 pocket pistol at .418 -.420 inches in width; and measuring the length from the side, from the bottom of the mag (bottom of the base plate) to the top of the highest point approximately in the center of of the side of the magazine, it is at 3.735-3.738 inches in length.
If I use a tape its length is approximately 3 6/8 inches .

I would think all .32 Mause pocket pistol magazines are the same, but I do not own an HSC. Does it use the same .32 magazine as the others or is it shorter?

I have all three, with genuine magazines which I understood at the time to be original to the guns. All the mags interchange and lock and unlock the slide. The fit of the 1934 mag in the 1914 was quite snug, and I did not like the look of the fit of the 1914 mag floorplate in the HSc mag well. I have not attempted to fire any of these pistols with anything other than the original magazines so I cannot speak to their feeding ability.

I hope this helps answer some of your questions.

Thank You for your input. I realize different mags that are made for the same gun by different companies can work better than others . The US 1911 is a fine example of a pistol that likes/functions well with some mags and hangs up
/ bottle necks with others. I thought the .32 pocket pistol mags should be the same in each pistol, but was not sure since I never had an HSC. Your comment is perfect and thanks for such a fast reply. Semper Fi
