I installed a Mojo microclick rear site on my Romanian AKM built from parts kit.

At the lowest setting, both red dots lined up, the screw in the center of the adjustment wheel blocks the sight picture through the site. It fills the lower 1/3 -1/2 of the sight and almost entirely blocks out the front post.

Has anyone had a similar issue? I know I could simply click the sight down until the screw disappears and then sight it in for 100 yards and go from there, but I'd lose half of the "clicks" on the sight. Not that I'm going to be shooting my AK at long range, but that doesn't seem to be a very good solution.

Any ideas/suggestions? There are two full threads of the screw exposed at the lowest setting. Would it be safe enough to file down?
