Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

WW1 Frommer Stop 12M .32

#1 Post by M67 » Fri Feb 22, 2019 12:45 pm

The Frommer Stop is a Hungarian long-recoil pistol manufactured by Fémáru-, Fegyver és Gépgyár (FÉG) (Metalware, Weapons and Machine Factory) in Budapest. It was designed by Rudolf Frommer, and its original design was adopted as the Pisztoly 12M in 1912, created for the Royal Hungarian Army. The pistol was manufactured in various forms from 1912 to 1918 and used in the Empire Austro-Hungarian Armed Forces, during the First World War.
TheFrommer Stop is 165 millimeters long with a 95 millimeters 4-groove rifled barrel. Unloaded weight is 600 g , and the detachable box magazine holds seven rounds. It has very complicated locking sistem with turning bolt too complicated for the 7,65 mm cartridge.

But, for me is very interesting, it is from 1918 and I found it in the neighbour house. Of course with the permission of the owner. We searched the attic for the Carcano rifle however I was happy found this pistol in an old shoe!!!! It was around 20 years ago, so unfortunatelly I did not take photos of the finding place!
