Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

FN-49 Collection

#1 Post by capt14k » Sat Jun 03, 2017 9:10 am

In celebration of the forum return I would like to share my FN-49 Collection

I maybe the odd man out, but I prefer the FN-49 to the Garand. My first was the Century Eagle of Saladin Faux Sniper and my second was a Colombian. After the second it just snowballed and I had to have them all.

From Top to Bottom All Matching and Correct (Except Eagle of Saladin)

Argentine Conversion 7.62x51 the only one with a detachable magazine.

Argentine Bayonet, Scabbard, and Frog

Venezuelan Low Number

Egyptian Eagle of Saladin w/ Correct Echo Military Base and Mount

Egyptian Bayonet and Scabbard

Egyptian 3 Sling Swivel w/ Matching Stock and Stock Disc

Luxembourg Low Number

Colombian

Venezuelan Long Bayonet

Venezuelan High Number with Stock Cartouches

Books

FN-49 The Rifle That Ran Out of Time by Stevens

FN-49 The Last Elegant Old World Military Rifle by Johnson (Goose52)

Belgian Oip Scope with Original Echo Military Base and Mount with Leather Lens Cover in Original Wooden Scope Box.

Just this week I added (2) Original Lux AL Marked Snipers with Original Leather Lens Caps. One has an original Echo Military Mount.

If anyone has an Echo Base or Mount or Both and are willing to sell please PM Me.

I used to have an Egyptian in real nice shape with the original stock, but, a prefix matching pu mosin was calling my name so I sold the Fn for the mosin.

I miss the WONDERFUL milling and metal finish the Fn had. The thing felt like a dang tank!

The one thing i did have to do with it though, was take apart the whole trigger group, there was so much sand loaded in the trigger group.

I hate picture threads, it always makes the gun in question move to the top of my list. Wonderful collection there sir!
