Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Century R1 ( FN FAL )

#1 Post by schmedly » Tue Jun 06, 2017 10:53 pm

I bought this Century FAL from J&G sales several years ago and still love it . I have done some work on like adding the carry handle and polishing the feed ramp . This rifle has proved to be totaly relieable and eats any and all ammo i have fed it . About the only problem I have is that it is as hard to keep fed as the grand babys !

Very true , I do love the ergonomics on the FAL . There is a reason for the rifle being called the rite arm of the free world ( it was addoped by over 90 contries as there primary rifle ) Some of my black rifles , FAL included .

The FAL is my favourite rifle. Fits me like a glove. In fact, look at my avatar, I'm shooting Burner's Aussie L1A1 !!!

I built that L1A1 on a Century receiver.
Bad photo but it is the one on top with the Coach wood.
