Your opinion, please.

Would you let this small abnormality deter you from dropping 2 bills (2.5 w/s&h) on an otherwise nice mid 40's K. Kale?

No, I would not let it hinder my purchase.

As long as the bore is decent, and the action looks and functions well, personally I would buy it.
If it's a deal breaker for you, one simple (inexpensive) remedy is to purchase a butt pad to cover.
Midway (Potterfield) has a remedy on youtube on how to permanently fix an uneven stock as well.

$200 today is not a bad deal today.

Typical Turkish rifle. They are not much for pretty. :D
The bore is more important. I expect the stocks to be somewhat distressed.

I miss the $75 dollar days.

Well, I got caught up in house cleaning and let the auction slip by. Not sweating it, as I read a number of posts from people finding better deals, so I'll keep my nose to the ground.

I didn't think the butt was that bad, but I'm green in regards to Turks and thought extra eyes would be good.

It went for $195 & $45 S/H. I thought the shipping was 50% inflated.

It's still a good day. I organized my ammo heap and found I had one more case of GP11 than I thought...

Something about a misaligned buttplate that drives me nuts. I've turned down atleast two rifles just because the buttplate sat too low and hung off the toe.

Cupped buttplates are just so much nicer!
