Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

PPD 40 and lost steam

Figures some of you would get a kick out of this project I'm trying to get back into. How many of you have seen a PPD-40? Interesting hodge-podge of semi automatic internals, PPSH lower and stock. Maybe some day I'll get back to it.

I like that... neat gun.. what made you pick doing a PPD-40???.. So is that a k-31 receiver that you reworked the bolt in??

I used to reenact Soviet WWII and the pps-43 and ppsh-41 were over done. And the receiver is actually a custom built job. To my knowledge there are no other ppds in the country.

The head spacing is the biggest issue right now. The Barrel/Extension is pressed into the trunnion, but is not drilled and pinned yet.
