I love the Colt one, I've got an AR15A2 (Bushmaster XM15-E2S) basically a copy of what I carried later in my career. Early in my career we had M16's with the old style triangular handguards, but I have no ideal what model it was, never paid much attention to that stuff back then. So I'd like to do a build of the earlier style I used.

Photos of my latest AR-15 rifle.
On this posting,I, exp I, would do another Ar-15 rebuild, to match my other rifles.
I, planned on using a Blackthorne upper and receiver/parts, using quality and best price.
Anyway, looking at fully assembled quality rifles, I decided to go this route cal 5.56 cal.
I, settled on one from I.O. Interordnance engineering Co. In Florida,US made by veterans.
I, wanted high quality, at a reasonable price. I, was looking for a rifle with a fluted top
rail and a key mode handguard.
My gunsmith and I, fired a fill mag. The rifle preformed flawlessly.
It pays to do a little research when looking for a new rifle!!

I, have added, a final AR-15 to my collection. This AR, has a fluted style M-lock hand guard.
So, one would want to quality accouterments, on the the M-lock rail..
c/w matching front and rear flip up sights.
Now, I, cannot wait, to get to the range, to test the scope and front and rear sights.

I also have an early Colt, mine is in the 8,000 serial # range. I like the old school ARs better than the newer ones

To complete my AR-15 collection,I wanted an AR rifle with a key mode hand guard and a fixed
mag pull moe type but stock. Since the rifle I, picked out, had a skeleton collapsible but stock.
That I, did not like, I, had it removed. I, replaced it with a mag pull rifle stock.
