I recently scored what I thought was a Colombian Mauser and have now determined to be Israeli.

For anyone who didn't see, my original postings were in the South American section.

The first post details the "discovery" phase:

I suppose they should have been posted in this sub-forum.

I'm not finding an import mark and I'm looking for a second set of eyes to check.

I'm also wondering what accessories would be correct for this rifle.

The stock, I'm guessing, is German, so would a German bayonet be appropriate?

What sling would be correct?

I'm finding almost no other examples of this rifle except the SKS files posting linked in the first thread above.

If anyone has more secret knowledge, I'd be grateful.
