Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

FN49 Venezualen contract in 7mm.
I was able to pick up one of these a couple of years ago in a local estate sale. I paid a bit under $300 and was satisfied it was a good deal. Lately I have been wondering what the real value could be. Cannot find any current auctions to guesstimate from and I am soliciting your help. I am NOT looking to sell this rifle at this time but I am getting older and have serious heart problems so will probably be selling off my collection soon. Thanks.
Serial number is in the late 800s and there is no sign of any stock markings which would be correct for a rifle from the first Venezuelan contract shipment I believe. It also has the one piece firing pin which appears not to have seen much use. Function is fine with commercial 7mm. I have not sanded the stock. Just cleaned off the ugly varnish and added a hand rubbed BLO finish.-

There are a few running right now.. Maybe that will help.. There does seem to be a big range
Beautiful rifle..I think 7mm would be perfect for that rifle.. although 8mm is my fantasy cartridge

Well, the first came with 500 rounds of ammo. The second had no stock markings, the third did have stock markings. Thanks for the leads. Looks like mine is selling for at least twice what I paid. Good information to have.

Just was looking for more serial #s. Rear of bolt? is marked 944. There is no marking on the receiver cover and no import mark on the barrel. Trying to watch the GA/OK game so don't want to disassemble it any further right now.
