Hey guys, so I've been bitten by Mosinitis very bad and keep trying to find Mosins in my area. I remember when they were $80 and I didn't buy them, was more into Enfield's and Mausers. Did have a Russian M44 that I had bought for $107 at Gander Mountain but sold a few years later cause I wanted something else. Regret it, so after getting my 1943 M44 I've been bitten by the bug bad.

I've found locally a guy selling what he advertised as a Russian M44, but after looking at the pictures I'm purty sure it's a Romanian. The stock has been refinished, the bore is in good shape (according to seller), and will come with roughly 150 rounds of mixed manufacturer ammunition.

For the whole package deal, $300...Should I go running to the bank before someone else beats me?

Hi Crazysarge

Happy new year

I think you are correct in saying its a Romanian.

The stock has been refinished but i believe the metalwork as well (Ceracote???)

Unfortunately I cannot help you with what the value of it in the states.
Someone else will have to chime in on that one.

Cheers

Got sold out from under me, mainly cause I kept asking for better pictures and questioning the finish.

All's well that ends well, got a Tula M91/30 1938 dated and a 1944 Izzy M44 in its place
