Nice to be part of the forum. I am a novice collector out of Ohio. Hope to learn some new things and possibly help out others.

Greetings all,

A newbie from FL. Enjoyed shooting from youth to youth++++

Some surplus short and long guns, but way early in the process. I appreciate any advice on surplus to avoid re: safety and hope I can help some along the way. Our entire family enjoys the sport.

New guy from NC here - hello all. I'm more of a shooter than a collector, but my faves to take to the range by far are my milsurps. I look forward to the threads.

Newby bombdog here... Thanks for the invite gents... Been to this site a few times, but finally pitched in... i'm on Culver's page, a Garand site or two, and the M14BR site... i have 4 ladies in my harem, 'alice' my first, a Jan53 IHC M1,
'maggie' my version of a 1963 TRW M14 (receiver is SAI the rest of the parts are all GI, mostly TRW),
'bonnie' my 1931 M1903 Springfield,
'lucy' my little 1944 Inland M1 carbine,
and 'molly' my 1943 Savage no4 mk1* parts correct i might add...
i've also got a LN Springer that i think may at one time have been a NM... Hard to tell since bubba sportered her before i got hold of her... Ser no 151005... She's got the proper sight collar, Lyman rear sight holes, half of a c stock, and a 5/18 RAI barrel... Other than that, ya never can tell...
i spent 22years in the Army, deployed to 5 different combat areas, Engineers, both construction and combat, and Infantry...
i'll cut it short of a long story for now, but suffice it to say, i look forward to the knowledge here...
bombdog, out...
