Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

1903 stock with single hole

It there anything special about a 1903 stock with a single hole in the butt stock? Straight grip with cross bolts.

My guess it was done after it left the manufacturer.
Purpose to add weight or store items.

NO. EXPERT. I have not seen one exactly like this one. I have seen crudely enlarged holes used to add lead for offhand shooting. Is the depth of both holes equal
