Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

1903 a3

#1 Post by hardcore » Fri Nov 30, 2018 2:58 am

i dont know much about these rifles.

i just got around to firing this one a few days back.

serial number indicates it was made in 42...the barrel is marked 4-43

i would need to adjust the windage...yall think that old scope would take adjustments..or just leave it alone.

Looks like a nice original M82 scope in good condition. The M82 scopes are getting harder to find, and typically sell for $1000 plus. Those scopes were pretty simple. I don't think there would be any problem adjusting windage or elevation on it. If it doesn't work you can send it to Iron Sights. They service those old scopes for around $100. I'd love to see more photos of the rifle.

the scope took adjustment just fine. the sling did not make it .

the only thing i have done with this rifle over the last 30ish years has been to oil it down, hadnt never fired it.

now its gunna get cleaned and oiled and saved again.

It is missing the front sight, so it is not worth much.
(I'm kidding. Nice rig, love the old scopes on these guns.)
Thanks for sharing. Wouldn't mind seeing more pictures.
