Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Picked up 1903 Mk1

#1 Post by Hippycrowe » Tue Jan 16, 2018 6:19 pm

Picked up a pretty nice Springfield 1903 Mk1 HS barrel the C stock is a bit rough some repairs it is marked RLB so I am pretty sure its a stock for a Rrmington rifle. Shoots nice paid $585.

Great find, especially for the price!

I passed one up for $600 a few years ago, and am starting to regret that decision.

Lessons learned.

Someday I'll have to commit to memory American stock marks and what is correct. Until then I'll live in a mauser and mosin paradise.

I understand that. When I was younger I committed the Mosin stuff to memory, but I wasn't married and more bored and idle then haha

It's nice to see some deals still exist.

I can keep my dream alive of having an American bolt rifle some day!

Every one I've seen for under 700 bucks was a "low number" rifle that I wouldn't shoot. You got a great price.....

You can not have an original M1903 MKI and have a low number.
All were high numbers.
