Did something change? I always had to resize smaller, now my pics are full screen.

We have moved to a new server. Some things were lost, some were changed. Things will be put right eventually.

Ahhh. I put some pics on, and they took up the whole screen! :o Nice close detail, but not what I had planned on. :D
Thanks

I'm having the same problem. Is there a way to resize them?

Test.

I just tried again, and now it won't even let me attach the photo. I get the following message:

"The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 640 pixels wide and 480 pixels high. The submitted image is 3648 pixels wide and 2736 pixels high."

And this is with a regular sized picture that I have used successfully before...I don't get it.

For the pics above, I manually resized them via photo editor before attaching them. Somehow the site did this for me before the server switch.

OK I also get this message:
I am now getting the following error when I try to post pictures:

The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 640 pixels wide and 480 pixels high. The submitted image is 1536 pixels wide and 1024 pixels high.

Not sure how to manually resize photos. The auto resize was one feature that I really liked about this forum.

Kevin

Edit> Figured it out....what a pain. Let us know if and when this issue gets fixed. It was a pain to resize and not really worth the effort.

It's not a pain and it's quite easy to do.

Having said that, I notified Jonesboy that it wasn't working now that we've completed the server move. He'll look into it. I have no access to fix issues with the forums themselves.

Any news with regard to the picture posting?

For the moment I am waiting with new posts including pictures as through the required size of 640x480 too much details are getting lost (in my opinion). Although I have seen one post viewtopic.php?f=61&t=135146 where you can zoom into the pictures by clicking on it. But I have no clue how to do that in an own post. Any ideas???

He uploaded them to a third party image hosting service (imgur in this case) and linked them in his post. Those directions are also in this thread, please see the first page.

Could be any number of things since it's a mobile phone you're using. Albeit most smartphones are basically mini computers. Are you certain it's simply that "image is invalid" error message? there's nothing that tells you why? Like perhaps the size of your pictures are too large? Have you tried performing this specific upload from a regular PC/laptop yet?
