Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Brazilian M954 Mauser

Recently I spotted this rifle on the racks at the local dealer.

I never seen one before other than in pictures and the price was right
so it eventually made it back home with me.
Its all matching numbers, bore is crisp.
Wood work is very good and the metal work is great, parkerised dark green.
It looks like it had little use.

It is sort of a mix of K98k and Gew 98 but it feels well balanced.

Its going to the range next week end and we will see how it goes.

It has a cracking crest on the receiver

I have one as well, very accurate. Would love to find the screw on flash hider(very little info to be found)

I believe the threaded muzzle was for a grenade launcher attachment. I don't believe flash hiders were supplied for these.

One has to love South American Mauser (Brazilian in this case) crests, who else would put Coffee and Tobacco on a weapon of war
