Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

1944 Izhevsk PU sniper / MO marked 48/51

#1 Post by Miller Tyme » Wed Feb 21, 2018 8:03 pm

Wasn't really looking to buy another PU sniper but the fact that this one is one of the few legit PU snipers imported by CAI, and a 1944, and MO stamped to boot peaked my interest. So after much thought and a few Bourbons I made an offer and as you can see it was accepted. The rifle is well worn on the outside, the scope was replaced during one of its refurbishments and the scope number ground off, but the bore has great rifling and isn't counter-bored. Looking forward to getting her to the range and getting her on paper.

Very nice. A triple date. 1944 and 48/51. And a sniper to boot!

I have seen many ex-snipers so marked, but less than a hand full legit snipers
