I think I've stumbled across a "all matching", completely intact with sling and cleaning rod/s in butt stock VZ 33.
Can ya'll confirm ?

She's in great shape!!! Bore is in good shape; maybe a little pitting..can't tell yet she needs to be cleaned.

what should I offer? Like I really NEED another rifle...

(spliced in from another forum I'm on)
The stock disk is marked FS. Finansi Straz..the Financial Guard
( aka: Bank Guards, police, border guards, customs, post men, etc... )

Year of production appears to be 1935. What is the mark left of the crest, left of year? (acceptance mark)

Could ya'll refresh my memory as to what the "A" denotes to the right of the serial number? (A= 1st batch of 10000 rifles)

I understand that only about 4300 FS were distributed. True or not?

This rifle has ALL matching part numbers!
There be numbers everywhere!!!
The bolt even matches!!! Is sling correct?

Sorry about the delay on the pics. I had to redo several times. I was having some technical and format issues.
I hate upside down pics!

She's in pretty good shape for 1935! no significant damage or dings! Look for yourself! never refinished!! no sign of Bubba!
Possibly some light pitting in bore..hard to tell. She could probably use a major cleaning on the bore!

A SWEET little carbine style rifle!

That's a good question. What happened with this. I can see that the rear band is installed backwards and it has a 98K sling on but, other than that, it looks great.

Sorry, for not responding; I've been dealing with one pile of poo or another since the middle of December. :violin:

Yes I did! She is safe and sound here with me! All cleaned up now. Renaissance Wax is amazing stuff!

I ended up working a discount on the rifle....price out the door after discount ...> sub $880 :D
To top it off ? a True vz33 bayonet straight out of Czech Republic!
And, I just found an original VZ33 sling (in good shape); also on it's way from Czech Republic as we speak!
SWEET!!!! I can't wait to get all the bits together!

Nice! You succeeded. (in making me more jealous)

I tried to score all of the parts to put one together and couldn't do it so, I made mine a "FrankenVZ33". Small ring mauser 98 receiever, .308 barrel, FN carbine rear sight, Nazi front sight, etc.

Just FYI (for ya'll), but especially GIJeaux...

There are a few VZ33's for sale over at Gun Broker...get your wallets ready!
I believe only 1 is marked F.S.....at over $4000-4500 !

I should be in jail! Walking out the door at sub-$880....this is the best score of my life!
The seller had NO idea what they had! :D :D :D :D
