Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

M28-76 1940 SK.Y barrel. Ammo: "JMS 02", Boxer primed, FMJ-BT, 170gr.

Two sighters at seven o'clock, adjusted rear sight, then five rounds.

Guy shooting a Savage .338 next to me (with muzzle brake - ouch!) also at 300 yards, with a really nice Vortex scope with cell-phone app, could not believe I was shooting iron sights.

What a neat rifle. I bet it would do the same thing at 800 yards.

Nice shooting, alamo. That is a fine rifle.

I bought some of that JMS 02 7.65 x 54R ammunition years ago and found it to be quite accurate. I still have a few boxes of it.

Never heard a definitive explanation of where it came from. Some opined that it was contract overrun made for the Gov by Winchester to be distributed to our allies in Afghanistan.

Thanks, calfed. I snatched up several hundred rounds of this ammo many years ago, only because it was Boxer primed and good looking brass, planning for reloading. Pleasantly surprised to find it's reasonably accurate. Saved and cleaned all the cases. Now down to the last 60 or so original cartridges. Will start testing reloads soon.

Thanks, Rapidrob. Don't know about 800, but I might have to try 500 yards anyway!

I can't remember from whom I purchased mine, but it could have been CDNN.

I bought 420 rounds and I still have the green ammo box that it came in.

Nice. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
CDNN has some great deals.
Or could it have been J&G Sales?
Mine was from Keesler's Sporting Goods in FL.
