All things being equal which would you buy? 1942, 1943, 1944 TULA
? Izhevsk 1942,43,44? PU or SVT scope? 'Splain to me if I should look for one over the other? :think:

are you going to shoot it or look at it, if you are going to shoot it it does not matter year or who made it.

Dejavu maybe I remember posting a reply to op but didnt.

Short answer
1942 and 1944 tula
As far as scopes, anything 40-41 is uncommon.

Most of the scopes coming in are 42-44 scopes.
Any 44-45 dated progress scopes or kazan.

You mention 44-45 progress scopes, are these fewer in number then say a 43 dated progress scope?

Yes a 1944 or 1945 marked will be rare compared with 42-43 progress scopes or other 44 scopes that do not have the date.

Thanks, the sniper I received has a 43 progress scope, thats why I ask!
