I recently acquired a International Mannlicher stock and decided to have some fun building a rifle off that platform. I as many will be a work in progress but this one will move faster because parts are much easier to find :) . I already have a BSA Sweet .22 scope and rings a bi-pod and sling . Would love to get some range pictures ASAP...........maybe tomorrow if the weather clears . Here are a few pic's

Looking good.
If you ever want a air rifle as a companion piece Gamo makes a mannlicher stocked under the barrel lever cocking air rifle that looks very much like your rifle. Been wanting one of those since first I saw one.

Work has been nuts to say the least . Finally made it to the range but was only able to take a couple quick pic's . I think the color rods are going on my phone because the colors are really washed out. I have been working the last 13 days with no break and I have 6 days to go . so my time is limited and my azz is dragging on the ground.

The group I got can be covered with a quarter except for the flinch on the right. The ammo used was Federal Champion which is what I have the most of at this time.

One fine looking two-two you have there.

I've been customizing a battered Marlin Model 99 M1 carbine I picked up for 20 bucks years ago.
I reshaped the stock and hand guard to more closely resemble those of the M1 Carbine, and made a band from the rear half of an old Mauser upper band.

Its looking pretty good. Under what was left of the factory finish I found the wood was walnut with excellent figure and fiddle backed at the front and at the butt.

The original rear sight was missing, but as I remember these thats small loss. I intended to mount a set of sights that resemble the M1 military sights. For now I use a cheapo Tasco scope which works fine for me.

Bore is still excellent and groups are very tight.
I prefer CCI Stingers for short barreled .22 rifles.
