Not sure but it's a Walther KK something or another. Maybe a KKS.

It's dated 1965. 25.5" barrel. It weighs 9 pounds. Very plain looking but handles nicely. Next year it will be a C&R.

My (LGS) local gun store found six of them crated-up. All were in heavy packing grease and quite the mess. Lots of stock/metal dings (no padding in the crate) but really nice bores and mechanically sound. I suspect they were club guns. There were only three with a complete set of sights.

I took the pick of the litter home and got it up to snuff. Some decent flaming in the stock.

EDIT:

I'm pretty sure it's a KKS-D (or V) according to a 1964 manual I found on Steve's Pages this morning.

I just love old target rifles! Its beautiful! Can't get used to the look of "modern" guns.

Wow, for some reason that bolt looks really long for a .22, or is it just an illusion of the picture. Great find, enjoy it.

Not really, at 6" it's a inch shorter than a modern Savage .22 bolt but you are right it does look like it's longer.
