Did I miss something? the site shown is for packing not ranges.

Anyone got a handle of 300 yd and farther ranges that one can
join in Virginia?

Not sure in Virginia. There is a nice range in Bridgeville, DE I am a member of. 300 and 600yd ranges. Also a 100, 200, and 300 range and 25yd and 50yd pistol/rifle range as well.

Where in VA? The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries runs a few public ranges. They are free with no range staff and you bring your own targets. I shot at the Hite Hollow one near Craigsville quite a bit over the summer. The people there seem pretty nice and competent. There were still quite a few bullet holes through the roof though. The range is a pavilion with simple benches and steel pillars down range for you to tie strings for hanging targets.
