#1 Post by indy1919a4 » Tue Jul 04, 2017 10:04 pm

Picked up a type 44 Japanese carbine in the 37k range serial number. This looks like the 1st variation. Does anyone know if you can figure the manufacture date???

Photos would help, but there is no reliable way to put a date of manufacture on any arisaka rifle besides a general estimate as the records, at least currently, don't exist
