Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

I picked up this 10th Series Nagoya

#1 Post by cwo4uscgret » Sun Jun 11, 2017 7:50 pm

last ditch from a guy trying to sell it at a local gun shop. The counter guy told him that I would be able to offer him more money then they would (there offer was $40); I offered him a "C" Note for it....

Its one of the cleanest "Last Ditch" Rifles I've ever seen. I'll let the pictures do the talking:

That's a very nice rifle for $100! I'd have snagged it up too. My 10th series looks nearly identical. The stock has a very light color and the finish is very dark like yours. Late war rifles are my favorite of the Type 99's!

Great catch! I've always had a soft spot for arisaka so in general and last ditches in particular. Aww what the heck let's be honest I have a soft spot for all these old girls, arisaka, enfields etc etc LOL!

A guy from work has a good looking last ditch, that he got in a trade (says he "had to take it" if he wanted the other rifle), that he has had for 4 or 5 years, and never shot, and probably never will, but he doesn't want to sell it, because he never sells a gun once he buys it. It's enough to make me want to double my offer.

That is a very beautiful rifle. Must of come straight from and arsenal. Great piece to have in a collection.

Very nice. I also like the late war rifles. By any chance is it numbers matching?
