I bought this for 50 bucks. It was rusty and has heavy Pitts. Made by MAS 1893. Think it will shoot even though it has outside Pitts?

Even in that condition that was a steal. What to check is under the wood. You will need to get/make some special screwdrivers for the tamper resistant screws. If it checks out Privi makes (and Graf's usually has) boxer primed ammo. it was $24 a box last time I bought some.

Agree with P-14 on the great buy, HOWEVER, there's no need to take out any if the "two prong" screws to break it down. The stock reinforcing bolt is meant to be permanent. No need to remove the one at the front of the trigger guard, just remove the one at the back of the trigger guard, and the one at the side of the action and the whole trigger/feed group comes right out as a unit. Lebels were "modular" before modular was cool. There's a second stock screw hidden under the trigger guard. Take off the barrel bands, forend will pivot downward and off, you'll have to push the follower back into the tube an inch or so for that to happen. Besides removing the bolt, that's about all there is to it.

Thanks. I'll have to try that. Bore has some shine too it with strong rifling. Numbers match.
