Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Hey gang. I posted this beauty on the old forum but I guess it couldn't hurt to show it off again. I bought this from a high school friend whose grandfather brought this home during the war. He was a veteran of the North Africa and Sicily campaigns so it really could've come from either area. Anyway it had some serious spider carcasses left in the action and in the mag well so I had to clean those completely out and make sure the action functioned properly. Also I put some BLO on the stock since it had been covered in a thin layer of cosmoline and wrapped in an old beat up blanket. Only after I disassembled it did I find out that at one point this used to be a former grenade launching carbine thanks to the small indent underneath the barrel. Also I found that the receiver was recycled off of another carcano made in 1917.
