Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

M38 Carbine

I picked this one up in PA. while on a road trip. I got it at a small gun shop east of Pittsburgh. There is no importer stamp on it and it's in pertty good shape.

It is missing the trapdoor on the buttplate.

I don't think that's and M-38, it looks like it's an AK😉. Must be an early proto type!

It should clean up pretty nice, no SA stamp either!

Picked up one just like yours at a gun show in Loisville, KY a few months back. Guy told me that due to its size it was a youth rifle. I guess he didn't realize that Italian carbines are small.
