Okay, has anybody out there actually done this successfully? I intend to anneal my brass first, but how much expansion can that case take at a time?

Best Regards,

Mark

If you have the expanders - or can make them - I'd go 357, 375, 400 or 410 then on to 430. Ren

I haven't tried it with .348, tried fire forming some PRVI 8mm Lebel cases, with no success, even after annealing.

I'm guessing its just too much to expand at one time. .323 to something like .430 is literally a stretch. A case conversion book suggests expanding in .020 intervals to avoid splits. That seems harsh if the brass is already annealed. Five expansions also take some time.
