Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

1936 s/27 k98 RC pics

Another thread mentioned about RC's, Russian Captured German guns, so I thought I would show my RC. I respect these guns, as they were there. Most of their owners didn't fare so well.

Here is a profile with some kit.

This rifle has a very sharp bore, and is in fantastic shape. It shoots better than I do with the open sights. Nothing matches, of course, one of the features of RC k98's. The sling is a repro.

Thanks for posting I never have been a mega buyer of rifles, but when the RC 98's
came in I bought 15 or so of them Cleaned all the cosmo , and even fired each one
with surplus ammo All functioned great
I sold them off and they treated me very well If Mr. PUTIN has any more, I am his pigeon

I love the walnut stock. I've always enjoyed Russian captures, to me they are a great project. Sure maybe one day the ones in Russian capture condition will fetch a premium but right now the "restored" ones sell for more than the Russian reworks. I have enjoyed scowering the world for parts and trying to make the rifle looks as simalar to it did originally. Here are my two I am very proud of them because I came shoot them and not worry about their monitary value as I would with an all matching.

I also built an AR 43 shooter using a non RC action, a pristine post war Czech barrel and some RC parts.
