No

Classic has 26 reviews on these VZ 52s . Classic is always a gamble, how bad is sweaty Ben going to screw you? I remember the old days when the black truck bedding was sprayed onto the cracked stocks to hid all the stock cracks. (SOG)
Most of these rifles experience stock cracks, I do not know the condition of these Ethiopian rifles picked up in a rat hole. At best they are fair. I would rather pick one up at a gun show and see what I am getting. They appear pretty beat for $500 +++ Did you see this:

I bit. Cracked stock, missing parts, bore looks like the inside of a rotted out hollow log. Customer service treated me like I had just kicked their mothers in the shin. My two star review did not make it onto their website. Only 4-5 star reviews need apply...

I found a much nicer one on another board with a shiny bore for less money.

That will be the last of my money that Classic will see

Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, Classic is a one time event for most. To others: https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/4efb617d-e ... rrp63.copy

Would it be possible to photo document the classic dog, please

I've wanted one for quite a while and bought one from Classic about a month ago. The price was $500, and I paid extra for a best of 10 hand pick. On the plus side; the stock is in good condition, the stock and receiver numbers match, all parts are present except for the front sight hood and cleaning kit, very little rust, and the gun is functional. On the minus side; hands down the filthiest gun I've ever come across, gritty sand and grease mixture in every nook and cranny (stacked like cord-wood in an African warehouse I think), and the barrel is shot out. There was a sling attached, but it is in very poor condition. Got lucky a week or two later, Centerfire Systems found some barreled actions somewhere and had them for sale for a little over $200 (fair to good rifling). Can you say "Money pit"? So, now I've got a range ready gun, and some surplus ammo that goes bang about half the time. I'm not one to give up beating my head against the wall too soon, so now I'm looking for reloading die. Buffalo Arms is taking backorders for a CH4D die set, up to 24 months wait time. Wonder if my surplus ammo will last that long..?

man i found mine from a private seller and must have had an angle watching over me.
it had the black undercoating paint on the stock-but all the parts look brand new, shiny bore and all the metal finish has no bad spots or surface rust.
then on top of this found a guy that made me a new walnut stock. added an SKS scope mount that fit perfect. oh my sling is in great condition too.
check what it looks like under the piston!!!!
