Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

YUGO M57 chrome interest?

#1 Post by FamilyFirearms » Fri Nov 17, 2017 3:04 pm

We have a chance to hand pick a few YUGO M57's that were chromed at some time over seas (importer marks on top of chrome). Some if not most were not in good condition but have a chance to pick up a few excellent condition guns with a chrome mag. Price will be $275 any interest?

Here is one of the 3 chromed ones we have ( I am keeping one 😬).

None from me and I am a tok nut. Todd, I would think there would be more interest in a 7.62x25 unmarked slide, no crest version of the m57 or one lacking an import mark and safety. Are these the newer 9mm or 7.62x25 versions? added  also a possible O or L prefix serial number on a normal M57 pistol. Any that are missing the safety?

There are a couple chrome ones with no crest. I will see if they have blued ones that way.

Ok you are getting my interest. A nice no crest, normal Yugo 57 tok is one I would want? :naughty: :naughty:
You sly dog, and my wife wants me to get rid of guns due to my health.
A sterile M57 would be a nice last pistol I buy kind of thing. :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shifty: :shifty:
check for matching serial numbers . the ones I have seen are " I code" prefix serial numbers. Copes distributing in Ohio had them and got some more in in 2017??? Not sure if any are the crestless sterile slide version. Please check out your source.

My dream; how about an O or L prefix serial number on a crestless sterile slide military M57. Todd Are you Santa? Are you a Genie?

No GO. I need a normal unchromed m57, sterile slide.   I take it they had no normal black m57s lacking crests--Bummer.

So if they have a matching, sterile slide, BLACK, normal M57 tok with a good bore I am still your huckleberry. That would be a nice find especially if the matching barrel was excellent. Holster wear is OK. Matching a must, generally they have an I prefix serial number on the frame with the number also on the slide and barrel.

A silver Tok just ain't right, it would make you feel like the Lone Ranger or the Cisco Kid
