Still having issues with low light level and keeping the sight picture. Even then I love shooting my Finn M39.

Re: 50 Yard Postal Shoot June-July

The front sight is still within the acceptable limit. It is a post sight that is similar to the military sight.

On all of my sights I put a bit of white liquid paper. It lets me acquire the front post in the semi dark of the indoor range.

100 yard Sniper (open configuration)

1. Only military surplus rifles may be used. Bolt action or semi-auto. The rifle must have been issued by a military somewhere on the planet. Generally this means anything that's a C&R or antique and is a military rifle. 2.Sniper rifles may be original military scoped or sporterized. 3. All shooting...

Re: my SVTs

You obviously have too many. I will help relieve the burden in you by giving some of them a home.

:D

It's a very nice collection!

Does anyone else have a Mauser HSc?

I always loved the clean lines.

Re: SVT: What I call The Cartridge Trick.

Oh yes! That is the one trick you really have to have in your bag with an SVT-40.

When your hands are greasy from cleaning it, you really don't want to wrestle with it.

Re: Garage Sale Kar98k

RCs are just as precious as the all matching ones. I love my RC Mauser, it's a wonderful shooter, and has history. It's seen the wars and desperate times. I have a second one, a bring back, all matching, original sling. The serial number is penciled into the underside of the foreguard, it is obvious...

Re: 100 Yard Sniper Postal Shoot June-July

That pretty much is outside the rules.
Modern equipment casts questions of technology advancement. While the scope may be similar to the PU scope it is not the configuration issued with the rifle.
Starting a sporterized thread would qualify it.
