Do you guys want a specific theme for the match? Distances, shooting positions? I don't mind setting one up...
It seems there is the best participation when the match is 100 yds, or less, and off the bench.
Also, different classes for semi auto and bolt guns....

Re: Spring/Summer 50 yard Milsurp Shoot.

Had a warm spell, so went out for one last fling. Took the nasty little Russian M38 carbine and 1946 Russian surplus ammo. Sat at bench as I was shivering too hard - did not use sling. score: 73 with one X https://i.imgur.com/cIa9TzI.jpg could not get scanned (PDF) files to load into Imgur - any exp...

Re: spotting scope question

this should work, these kinds of telescopes brings in the moon which is some 250,000 miles away pretty close , don't see why it wouldn't work at distance of 300 yards https://www.walmart.com/ip/Barska-300-Power-400x70mm-Refractor-Starwatcher-Telescope-with-Tabletop-Tripod-and-Carrying-Case/14733684...

Re: Spring/Summer 50 yard Milsurp Shoot.

Hello Everyone, I have been testing cast loads with my DWM made Mauser Argentino 1891. I am very happy with the load. I used the 400 m sight setting and used a center hold for this one. The Lyman 314299 GC bullet is a good one. I will play with this load at 100 and 200. You are off to a good start!...
