Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

8x56R 208 grain long range load

The quest for duplicating the 8x56R 208 grain sptizer boat-tail FMJ load has been an interesting road. The Nazi loading from the late 1930's has always been the pinnacle of performance to meet by the handloader. As you know 99% of the posted loads are anemic at best due to the shooters being very re...

Re: Charcoal burners

Timing is everything. I just cast up 250 .58 Mine' Balls for my Zouave. I miss the fun of clouds of smoke and the slow shooting.

Re: 7.62MM Garand

The rifles were used for bullseye competitions. Thy shoot very well indeed. Check to see if your stock has Acuglass or other beading compound in it? If not is may be one of the barreled actions CMP sold a few years back and put into a stock. I cannot confirm the "Mine" use,as all of my ships had M-1...

Re: Failure to fires with Rasheed rifle

Wolff Springs Will have a spring that will fit. You may have to buy a "Gunsmith Special" of ten springs for a few bucks that will have a spring that fits.

Re: "Mexican Match" .45 ACP?

Being coated is not a problem. Pressures will be lower and still safe. POA will change of course due a diff bullet, velocity, etc.

Re: Swedish Husqvarna made Browning 1907 Clone

Why .380 and not 9×19mm Parabellum? You'd think a new recoil spring and barrel would do the trick.

Re: Best parkerizing solution?

You can mix your own for 1/5TH the cost of a bottled solution. Any good ceramic hobby shop will have the Magnesium powder and Home Depot or Lowes will have Phosphoric acid ( metal cleaner) for sale.
I've using the home brew for decades with very good results.

Re: Anyone here have a 1895 Nagant that they've tried fitting a .32 cylinder to?

The "kit" sellers never tell you the parts must be hand fitted to your revolver. The problem lies in that the new Pawl is too thick and sticks out too into the rear of the cylinder causing a drag. Also, the pistols original rotating arm is now too long. Yes,you will need to buy another arm in order t...

Franz Stock .32 ACP range report

Franz Stock .32 ACP at indoor 25 yard range. My 71 grain cast bullet loads over W231 powder. 900 FPS. I shot several pistols today. I was hoping after reading how well these pistols were made that the accuracy would be the bright star today. It was not. I was disappointed with the pistols accuracy. ...

CZ27 Indoor Range report

I took the CZ27 to the range today,a 25 yard indoor. It has poor lighting but I had the range to my self. I took two 71 grain loads today. One at 900 FPS,the other at just over 1,000 FPS. The faster load did well and shot to just right of center.( right hand rifling) CZ27 target.jpg The 900 FPS seem...

Re: CZ 70 came home today

25 yard indoor range and my 1,000 fps loads did OK,not great. The pistol shoots to the right. I'll need to drift the rear sight over.
