Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

20gr of H4227 does well for me with the 250 gr bullet, out of a modern 92 action. I don't know if it is safe in a Henry action. It is a starting load listed for Ruger & T/C pistols (max 24.6gr, FYI). Oil and superfine steel wool, or if you'd prefer something softer, some of the brass or copper wool. Some use a penny, heard of some using a piece of spent brass too.
