Re: Finnish Westinghouse M91

Does yours have tiny screws at the bands? Odd, I do not see two circles on the faint cartouche? How matching is it part wise? What year is that one? Is it lacking an import mark? Mine has one on the barrel :snooty:

Re: Origins of Obrea pistols?

I could not find info on a .38 Largo cartridge in Cartridges of the world???? I did stumble onto this interesting post about the ammo & pistol. It seems to be a somewhat odd, rare, but inexpensiv revolver. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/forum/hand-guns/hand-guns/i-recently-obtained-a-spanish-revolver-...

Re: World War I: On the Firing Line With the Germans (1915)

I finally got a non blue ray version from Canada of APOCALYPSE World War I a 5 episode series normal DVD , very well done by Isabelle Clarke and Daniel Costello. There is some really nice footage here. The Blue Ray version is easy to get. Here is a short review. http://www.peek-a-boo-magazine.be/en/...

Re: Origins of Obrea pistols?

Opps I was thinking 9mm largo  :snooty:    Actually I was familiar with the 9mmx 23 Largo. I see that your pistol is .38 Largo and I have never seen or fired any of this. I do know it is Black powder cartridge. I do not know if its still made. My collector buddy seems to think...

Re: Origins of Obrea pistols?

To my knowledge Largo in 9 x 23 mm is not a black powder cartridge it is post 1901-1903. A Star A is 9mm Largo, while a B is 9 mm Luger ammo which is easy to find. You still can find old...
