Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: 1917 eddystone question

Does it make it anymore collectable with the British markings I was going to offer 275 would that be worth it for a sporterized one I don't know what the value of these are The British markings may mean it was one sent to Britain early in WWII when they were short of weapons. If it still had it's o...

Re: 1917 eddystone question

Hi New Guy, If it's restorable, that's a plus. The front sight has to come off to put GI hardware back. Stock sets are around but spendy, as is the metal bits you'll need. The resto stuff drives up the total, close or the same as if you bought a complete rifle, but you saved one . That's the real sa...

Re: My ruskie stuff

Nice bunch of commie shooters. I was fortunate to get my SVT. They've been on the list, but just kept getting further and further out of reach. PAX

Re: On a Russian roll

Sounds like that guy can get some cool guns! I was gonna try and completely save for an SVT but was told not to pass up on the CMP garand so I got one on order. I have never shot or even held one before I'm beyond excited lol He's been at it since the $80 SKSs & $400 SVTs, which is what he likely p...

Re: On a Russian roll

Yea man I feel the same about the cost of them hopefully I can find some one to trade for it. If not I guess I'll be stuck watching videos on YouTube of them all the time 😂 lol My iron, sold on the street, would have likely fetched more that he was asking, but they were bought long ago for dirt. Al...

Re: On a Russian roll

Hopefully it works out for ya. I am at 3 91/30s and and one polish m44. Next I'm working on a SVT probably, will be searching a while SVT40s were so out of my $pending league, I'd thought I'd never get one. But I helped an FFL bud at a show, and on the last day, lots of tire kickers, but no takers o...

Re: Eddystone fixer upper

This one was salvageable and was returned to as issued. The trickiest part was the FSB. I have another sport job, 03-A3 Smith Corona, that I thought was a Griffin & Howe, it was done so nicely. I took pictures and emailed the to the G&H historian. He was kind enough to send back comparisons pictures...

Re: 1858 Remington Carbine Revolver

after having been frozen, make sure the timing/indexing is dead on, when your arm is past the front of the cylinder, an shaved ball is most unpleasant. :/ It was stuck from sitting/neglect/poor environment and didn't appear to have been shot much, if al all. After freeing it up, it seem to cycle fi...

Re: Went for ammo...but

One round without powder, one moment of inattention, bye bye hands and face... Only trust your own loads. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk I wouldn't buy, let alone shoot, someone home made hand load ammo. just way too risky, especially from someone you don't even know. but it's your hand/face...
