Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

I love it. I HAD one quite similar given to me by my uncle in 1960. He and my pops were in the 1st Filipino Regiment. Last year, he told me he liberated it when they came ashore in New Guinea. I cut mine down, when I was a kid. Now I building a Carbine clone out of it. PAX
Yes, yes indeed...I have always thought someone should basically copy that AK-47... tighten things up here and there and give it a little beefier receiver with a cartridge just a little bit stronger and have one heck-of a military gun by just adding maybe 4 ounces at the most. I know, I know, don't...

good point echo...hell with the law when all hell breaks out! There would still be RULE OF LAW, and you'd need to be cautiously courteous, in a savage manner, but mag capacity would be the last thing on my mind. Register over at Calguns, then ask the same question in the C&R section, and Gunboards has/had a couple listed recently. I too had been looking AT them, but missed the boat when they were plentiful and affordable. I was helping my FFL bud tend to his table at a local show. He was getting a few tire...

I have been in the market for an M1903 for quite some time, however I cannot seem to bite the bullet and pull out the ol plastic. Should I hold off or snag the one up for 1500? Is this the "new" norm price wise? I have been out of the surplus game for several years now . The new norm is that most a...
