Re: Polish Wz-48 barrel removal

Any chance you know where to get a bolt? I have a decent complete rifle with no bolt. There was talk a few years ago by Preachere that they were going to "ream" a chamber out to .22 mag. That way you could use the same bolt for both calibers. Apearently there are a lot more barreled receivers than b...

Re: M1917 or SMLE?

Lots of SMLE stocks and parts out there. With new ammo, the cost for it are close and reloadable. Plus I have an Enfield addiction 😬

Definitely the k98.

On a similar note, we were at an auction and purchased a box of books. Inside was a book with reproductions of several old Bannerman catalogs. Wow, the stuff they sold was really awsome. Talk about the golden age of surplus!

Re: I picked up wooden crates and have a question.

The YUGO 7.62x39 is good ammo but corrosive, clean accordingly.

Back during the insanity, we sold a bunch of it and found some with green seal on the primers. It turned out to be boxer primed non corrosive! We put it on gunbroker for $1 a case and eventually sold for over $600 😳
