years and years ago I bought soviet M-N clips, all had A tiny ISHVESK stamp on the "spine" of the clips. all the rounds went in like butter, without having to do anything but push them in with a thumb. a year or so back I bought some clips to load more rounds. those things were garbage

well, seeing that the OP was still in diapers and crawling around the floor, looking back 35 bucks may not seem to be much money. but 35 bucks was a lot of money back then, especially if you had a family to keep a roof over their heads (rent/mortgage) and had to cloth and feed them pay bills and all...
