Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Looked like someone shot off one of his antlers. I think I might have left that one alone. Probably all white meat anyway.

Re: Finally joined the .45 ACP club.

Great price if you ask me, and likely to be a great shooter. I really enjoy shooting .45's. The only real issue with them (as far as I'm concerned) is that .45 hollow point ammo just doesn't expand a lot in any gun with a barrel length less than 5 inches. I did a lot of hollow point ammo testing se...

Finally joined the .45 ACP club.

There's an on-line gun seller who is actually local for me. Among other things, he buys and re-sells former LEO guns when the police, sheriff, etc departments upgrade their old firearms. He recently listed some S&W M&P 45's on his site under "Used Handguns". The compact guns were $299 and the full s...

Mine is the pre-war Winchester 69A that I inherited from my dad. Been shooting it for 60 years. For a sporter weight rifle with iron sights, the accuracy is still astounding.

Yep. We rescued a few dogs when we lived in the country. I don't get why anyone would do that to a pet.

Re: What happened to Zeliard & Candyman ?

Candyman's last post in the rimfirecentral.com forum was on July 17, 2018. He seemed to post in spurts there and would dump a bunch of good info on the forum and then disappear for a few years. Hope he's okay. He's a good guy.

Re: No Internet In NM and Blizzard coming

We are feeling it here in the Greater Kansas City area. Started snowing Friday night. By Saturday night we had 12 inches of heavy wet snow that crushed trees and power lines. Initially over 100,000 customers without power. We lost ours Saturday morning just before 8:00. Still out. Jackson County got...

Re: .17 caliber rifle

I think you will like it. When my wife started shooting, centerfire rifles were a little too much for her so a 17 HMR was a good choice. Optics are a must and her Marlin was a little persnickety when it comes to ammo but once you figure that out they are crazy accurate. Not so great for hunting smal...

Funny product review.

This is a product review someone posted about a pistol they purchased from Classic Arms. They gave it a one star rating. ... Looks like the barrel is shot out. The CZ I recieved was just OK to me. Nothing to write home about. Bore looks to have little to no rifling left. This was for a CZ-82. Anyone...

WW I Museum

I have lived in the Kansas City area all my life and one the iconic landmarks here was the Liberty Memorial which was originally to honor WW I veterans. Over the years it kinda fell into disrepair, but an the beginning of this century they began a restoration and conversion to the National WW I Muse...
