You can't have the rifle without the bayonet.
Agreed!! Glad you found a bayonet too.

Yes, PPU is mostly what is available here also. Hope they don't stop making it - I should stock up on that.

Never won anything, but still enter some of the contests. Those "new style" contests with all of the social media crap I tend to avoid.

Re: Quite in here

Yes it is :( - I've been doing a little bit of buying but way less shooting than I'd like. With the availability of milsurps being down and the prices going way up, I've reverted back to getting more modern guns. Although I never stop looking for bargains wherever they pop up. Got so desperate a whi...

Now you need to find one of these - snagged this a couple of years ago to go with mine. Happy hunting.

Re: Argentine 1891 Long Rifle

Great find - classic Mauser long rifles are works of art.
The ammo here is about $0.75 / round (USD) - how is the availability / affordability in your area?

Re: New to Me M39

Very nice indeed!! I just love the "B" barrels. While it looks awesome now, just wait until you put some of Tom's Pine Tar mix on it. They were made for each other.

All I can say to my neighbors in CA is to remember the last half of the old water conservation saying when you're at the voting booth - "...If it's Brown, flush it down!"

If you want to have an SBR, you have to first get approval from the government by filling out forms and paying a one-time tax stamp to get it registered. A lot ...

Re: 1851 Navy...

Congrats - nice looking revolver. The slower loading process of BP shooting gets you more invested in each round you fire. Love the grease, smoke, and smell - everyone should try BP shooting.
