Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Lee pistol crimp die questions HELP

The collet type die would crimp enough...the “sizer type”? No

As I said earlier...if the 32ACP is a “sizer” like the 9mm?...forget it.

Re: Lee pistol crimp die questions HELP

The .312” 32 ACP would still have enough “squeeze” to crimp your .308” bullet. My 7.62x54R factory crimper does fine with .311” or .308” bullets.

Just use the washer/spacer trick. This assumes it is a collet type crimper. My Lee 9x19 factory crimper is not. My 30 Luger die is.

Easily sells for $1/rd or more. $350 for a 400rd can seems good to me.

Not too bad if it shoots well. I would have to do something about that castrated muzzle.

It is regular math . He said 99.9% of HIS rifles had a .3105 bore , that means the sample group would have to be 1000 rifles to get the figure of 99.9 . 999 had .3105 , 1 did not . 999 + 1 = 1000 Roger...I was looking at YOUR post: 99.9% of 50 rifles....didn’t realize you were splitting hairs on Ro...

You have 1000 54r rifles ? 99.9% would mean 1 out of 1000 .
Show your work on that math... I figure if 99.9% of 1000 rifles have .311” bores that is 999 rifles. No?

Re: NM MILSURPS "Winter War" 800 yard match

Fun match but tough day for me. 2 hits out of 20 with the Finn M39. Plenty of close misses!

Maybe I should stick to hand grenades?

Nice rifle! I have a 28-30 that was once a 28-76 but now a regular infantry rifle... can’t figure out why that happened! M28/57 Maybe? https://i.imgur.com/T9oCxX2.jpg?1 M28/57 quite possibly. It has milling & tapping for receiver sight and bolt handle notch....now in standard stock and with regular...

I was so glad that 1,000 Arshini worked! The next "notch" was 1,200 and sailed the bullet into Santa Fe! I found the rifle will not shoot Light Ball surplus loads worth a darn.

Re: What is the history of this 1891 rifles markings?

Is there an importer marked on the rifle? The added serial number on the receiver would suggest a recent import...not done in the 1980s and 90s...or before 1968.

Re: Crazy prices on guns at show

$800 is too much for an unissued Polish M44, but I don’t think you will find one under $500 very often.

A bargain compared to an Unissued M1 Garand or K98 Mauser.
