See if Nurmich Gun Parts has a schematic of the rifle then look at their parts prices before investing if you are trying to put it back as a military configuration. Auction sites usually have them in the $600 - $700 range as complete. The stock will probably be your big expense.

Excellent rifle. I was fortunate to get the 1935 long rifle. This Mauser at its finest in the 1930's production.

The story I heard on the No Blues was the metal finish got messed up during a cleaning process after they were shipped to the U.S.

Yes, thanks for the info. I had bought two from Samco. One with the German code crest and one that was scrubbed.

Mine is dated 1910. All matching. Has the brass disc on right rear side of stock about the sixe of a nickel. Marked 2R over 2396 Bought a box of ammo from Buffalo Arms. Was expensive but I just wanted a box.
