Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

That is very sad. I hope the fire was not deliberate.

Beware of this companies shipping practice

I found 7x57 MM Mauser component ammo for sale on an auction site where you could buy the ammo for .09 cents each. The powder, bullets and brass cases were OK,but the primers were dead. I bought a thousand rounds and the seller would contact me on shipping charges. I asked for Fed-X and got UPS inste...

Re: Clay Plug In Minnie Balls

I would make a plug and let it harden. Then smack it with a hammer to see how hard it really is. The plug should be hard to shatter with a light blow. The plug must leave the cavity after the bullet is free of the muzzle and has done its job of obdurating the bullet into the rifling. For accuracy ea...

Re: Greek military rifles

They are great rifles and if the Internet is correct, they were the most expensive military rifle/carbines to make in their day. Finding a rifle with a nice shootable bore is hard these days. The carbines always seem to be in much better condition than the rifles.

Re: FN49 Egyptian sniper rifle

Shoot it! The scope was made for this type rifle. And,there is a scope company that has very fair prices to repair any problems that may happen.
My club members shoot some very nice and not common sniper rifles and only one time was there ever a scope problem and it was that way when he bough it.

NM MILSURPS May .22LR long range match

Our match this month will be 50,100,150 and 200 meters. NRA .22LR sized targets fired at from the bench or prone. The practice today showed you members are all ready to shoot some impressive scores even in our winds at 200 meters. Make sure your rifle or scope will go out to 200 meters without a ser...

Re: Forgotton Weapons video of NM MILSURPS 800 yard shoot

We have a shooter form Portugal who is flying in to shoot with us on July 1,2018, on his way to see Ian celebrate the 4TH of July shoot. We will have him shoot long range as well and it will be a first for him. It should be fun.

Re: WW I Snead Victory Lamp- Morgan Explosion

The WWI helmet showed up. With the placement of the light bulb, the lamp shade holing bail/harp is too long and looks all wrong. I will cut down and forge the bail ends for a new lamp shade bail that will look better. With the weight of the helmet, I'd be leery using the clamp onto the light bulb ty...

Re: Just for interesting reading

If you made a $1.15 an hour back then you were in the tall grass. If you paid for dinner with a 20 dollar bill you got looks as if it was a 100;many restaurants had to get the manager to break a 20. I never held a 20 until I was in High school. You filled your car up for 3 bucks. Firearms were alway...

Re: Mauser Gewehr 98 rifles

In 1972 I was stationed in Charleston, SC and a local K-Mart had Commission Rifles for 25 dollars and WWI Mauser rifles for 35 bucks. The condition you mention is the same as what they well selling. The Mauser 98 rifles were not "Turked". I bet the rifles were used by a VFW or other honor guard as m...
