Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: MAS .308 conversions

Buy the original 7.5 French. If you already have one in .308 and don't want to sell it there was a guy who used to make an adjustable gas system that supposedly fixed a lot of the problems.

Re: a few Spanish/Latin American Rifles

The FR-7 and FR-8 are 7.62x51mm both CETME and NATO is fine to shoot in them. .308 I would not use. I need a matching FR-8. I sold my bolt matching FR-7 but I did like it. Also need a Brazilian Mauser M968 Mosquefal. The Madsen, M968, FR-7, and FR-8 are all similar. Cool looking military bolt rifles...

Scammer Alert

Below info is thanks to Warrior1354 from K98kforum.com He's been posting on many different forums and having payments sent too a false address or a pick up point. Here's his sending address for that, remember it well. Don't even worry about the user name he has well over four different ones. Gregory...

I tried that. I didn't think they would have an issue with it being it is $5 more than the second high bidder.

It's not worth it. They will just leave retaliatory feedback. They said they would honor the second high bid. Hopefully they can make the deal happen.

NJ will to FFL. It is purely their own personal decision.

Matching Number Stickys

I've been trying to create posts in the appropriate forum with the info I have gathered regarding which parts should be matching on a particular rifle. I will also add pics to posts. It seems the info I am most asked about and I am always searching for myself is which parts should be matching. Just ...

Re: French MAS Rifle Serial Number Locations

That would be great. If we build it they will come.

For the record I don't think I've seen anyone as knowledgeable about French Rifles as Kelt. For him not to be a Mod of a French Forum is ridiculous.

Re: French MAS Rifle Serial Number Locations

Just as a side note refurbed MAS 36's might not have the buttstock SN, bayonet SN, trigger guard SN, and magazine floor plate SN. As for the forestock SN where would this be? On the outside or in the barrel channel, I've never had mine out of the stock hence my ignorance on this one. My P series MA...

The Enfield Rat Rifle

That rifle is awesome. I wouldn't destroy a matching Enfield to make one, but it would be a great project for a sporterized mismatched Enfield. Definitely like it more with the smaller magazine. Reminds me of the Brazilian Mosquefal M968 on steroids. I would like to own both a M968 and OP's Enkafer....

Re: Gun shows

If the M95 is 8x50R it maybe a double blessing. While ammo is non existent it is worth more and it may not kick quite as hard. I had a M95 Carbine in 8x56R it felt like being hit with a sledgehammer. After firing 2 rounds I was going to unload the rest. I probably would have if no one else was aroun...

French MAS Rifle Serial Number Locations

I will attempt to start this thread off memory. I am sure Kelt knows much better than myself. MAS-36 & MAS-36/51 1) Receiver 2) Bolt 3) Butt Stock 4) Fore Stock 5) Trigger Guard 6) Floor Plate 7) Bayonet MAS-45 1) Receiver 2) Bolt Were there more parts numbered on the MAS-45? I will try and add pics...
